The Escondido Beach Resort Boracay Philippines is an “A” hotel type resort which is not situated on a beachfront yet the beach is less than 5 minutes walk away.

Its imposing two-storey building is set alongside a mountain yet also very near to the famous fine white sand beach at Boat Station 1.

The resort boasts of 10 deluxe rooms and 2 suite rooms. Also 3 nipa huts are located at the hillside where guests can indulge in an outdoor massage.

The Escondido Beach Resort is located at Boat Station 1, Balabag, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan, Philippines.

It is a non-beachfront resort yet only a less than 5-minute walk to the finest, whitest, cleanest and widest portion of White Beach.

The resorts location offers privacy and tranquility to the guests however it is quite near to all the restaurants, bars and hottest spots in the island.

How to Get to Escondido

With advance notice, the resort’s van or mini-bus can meet you at the Caticlan airport and bring you to Caticlan Jetty Port which is only a short ½ kilometer ride.

At the port a native motorized outrigger boat or “banca”, servicing the resort exclusively, will take you to the resort in only twenty minutes.

Or you may take a plane to Kalibo airport. The Caticlan Jetty Port is two hours away over excellent roads.

Air-conditioned tour buses will bring you from the Kalibo airport to Caticlan Jetty Port where a “banca” will bring you directly to the resort in twenty minutes.

Air charters from Manila and other points can be arranged. The resort front office staff will be glad to reconfirm your domestic and international flight bookings.
